Yes, it is possible.: Eat healthfully ; be physically active. Calories burned must > calories consumed. You can mix ; match different kinds of physical exercise.

You'll lose fat.: As jogging is a cardiovascular exercise, you will certainly lose fat by jogging regularly. As far as gaining muscle, you may gain some muscle tone, shape and size in your leg muscles, especially if you run up and down hills as part of your course, but you wouldn't diffusely gain muscle.
