Can minimal spondylitis at l3-4 indicate disc herniation?

Different things: Spondylitis is inflammation of the vertebral body, or bony part of the spine and disc go between them, so they are separate structures. So spondylitis can't cause disc herniation.

Back inflammed pain: Spondylitis implies that annnflammation exists, and this often produces pain in the low back.Typical causes are infection, degerative disease, and disc herniation. Accurate diagnoses can be done by your doctor with MRI scanning, possibly using discography, and blood tests. Treatment plans can then help resolve this issue.
