What does minimal spondylitic changes at l3-4 on lumbar spine xray mean?

Degeneration: It indicates degeneration. It is sometimes called 'arthritis' it is part of the normal aging process. It may or may not cause symptoms (such as pain). The correlation between x-ray changes and symptoms is poor. Folks with 'horrible' spondylosis can be doing fine. Others with 'minimal' changes may have limiting pain. See a spinal doctor or you primary if you fall in the latter category.

Very little- : Spondylitic changes are simply a way of describing normal degenerative changes or arthritis. While most people think of older people with this it is actually a normal finding that occurs to varying degrees between people.
