Can anybody tell me why a hysterectomy is a hard surgery for a woman to recover from. i've had many surgeries but this one is the worse one ever.

What type?: There are minimally invasive hysterectomies and traditional abdominal hysterectomies. I'm thinking that you likely had an abdominal hyst where they made an incision like a cesarean section? If so, as we age, surgery becomes harder to heal from, we don't bounce back as easily. If the surgery was for endometriosis, you could have issues with scar formation that cause pain. Lots of different poss.
