Depends what type: An open hyster takes the longest to recover with 8 weeks of disability, 1-3 days before you walk comfortably, & 6 weeks before you can resume full activities. Usually meds are given for the first week and then tapered off. Vaginal, total laparoscopic, lsc assisted, & robotic all have quicker recoveries, prob in reverse order. It depends on the complexity of the surgery & skill level of surgeon.
