Toe nail root: You had yor mail surgery 5 days ago. You think you see bone. Most likely the toenail root is what you see. The toenail was most likely cut and you have some left. The bone for the distal toe is small. You will need to see your doctor for follow-up so ask them to explain what they did and have a family member with you to review.
