Surgery on infected, broken bones in foot 3 weeks ago. pain was under control and swelling was decreasing. now it has doubled in size and painful?

Infection or abscess: Urgent issue must be dealt with do not delay. See your surgeon immediately and got to the ER, you may have an infection or an abscess and this should be dealt with immediately as an emergency. Watch for discoloration of your foot such as bluish color in the toes which may mean blood flow is compromised but get this seen to immediately in the ER.
