Wheat allergy: It is possible. Mild or evolving food allergies can be felt as indigestion or severe reflux, which is indicative of local histamine overproduction. Blood tests can be negative or low even in the setting of a positive skin test, since skin tests are more sensitive. If you notice the same symptoms when eating other wheat-containing foods, the suspicion of a wheat allergy increases. See an allergist.

Many causes: You might have a wheat sensitivity or allergy even with a low ige rast test. If it only occurs with weetabix cereal, it may be a sensitivity to a preservative or additive that is in the cereal, especially if it doesn't occur when you eat other wheat products. Review the ingredients with your doctor.
