A member asked:

Ct scan showed protuberant cavernous carotid artery covered by bone. what does this mean?should i be worried? nasal/ear issues and blood in snot.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: It is unlikely that these are related findings because your nose gets its blood supply from the other branch of the carotid artery. I am not sure what is meant by "protuberant" but if they mean it looks like aneurysmal, you should keep an eye on it and see a neurosurgeon that specializes in vascular disease.
