My one month old son has a light cough and sound congested he sleeps thru the night and eats 4-6 oz bottles what should I do ?

Congested: Babies are notorious nose breathers. As a result they get a lot of mucus in their nose.The mucus results in a post nasal drip which results in a cough. Use the bulb syringe given to you at delivery to suck out excess mucus. Use saline nose drops in each nostril 4 times a day. Use a vaporizer and elevate the child's mattress when sleeping so he is sleeping on an angle.
