My 5 1/2 month old has a very constant cough, his cry has change more hoarse he is constantly screaming less sleep and less bottles also sounds wheezy?

Viral infection: As long as the breathing is ok and the baby is taking most bottles (and keeping them down) you can manage this from home. You can help the babies breathing with nasal saline to loosen mucus and a bulb syringe to suck the mucus out. Cough medicine is not recommended.

Cough: May be viral but with all those symptoms you need to have the baby checked out today. If you cant get your doctor go to the ER right away
