Several things: It could be tmd involving inflammation of your jaw joint capsule. If it's the upper back teeth that are sore, it could relate to maxillary sinusitis.It could be plaque induced root sensitivity or it could be all 3 and more. You need a comprehensive dental exam to narrow down the possibilities.
