Yes, : Yes, that is one of the symptoms. Pressure in that area is another symptom. Have your jaw radiographed by an oral surgeon to determine where exactly your teeth are and if they are impacted. They may have to be extracted if they are bothering you that much.

There : There absolutely can be pain associated with erupting 3rd molars (or wisdom teeth). However, there are other possibilities for the cause of pain with this pattern. You should see your dentist or an oral surgeon and have a panorex radiograph taken in conjunction with a comprehensive dental, oral and head and neck examination. It can then be determined whether the wisdom tooth or something else is causing your pain. Please don't ignore it and hope it goes away.

It : It might well be! if you are between the ages of 18 and 25 yrs and have not had your wisdom teeth erupt into your mouth to your knowledge, and have not had them taken out, then with a good x-ray and a quick examination you should be able to learn the answer for sure. I suggest a visit to the dentist and be sure. Dr neil mcleod dds dentistry that lasts - quality that counts.

Maybe not: The previous doctors provided excellent answers and advice. It maybe that the wisdom teeth are not the cause of the pain you are experiencing. That is why it is important for your dentist or an oral surgeon to evaluate your specific situation for proper diagnosis and treatment.
