Dry eyes post lasik: The good news is that this usually recovers in 6 months. I have found a remarkable drop, that can be ordered online but not at the pharmacy. It is oasis ophthalmic solution. All lubricating drops seem to work for 1 to 3 minutes for me. This does not blur my vision that much to start, and my eyes are slippery 1 hour later. Rx Restasis drops helps 2 to 6 months later, so the 2 go well together.

Lasik and dry eye: I let all my lasik patients know that dry eye could be a problem for 6-12 mon after surgery, and for older patients, mabye longer because they already have dry eye sypmptoms. Your lasik doctor should see you back and make some recommendations as part of your surgery. I would rec preservative free artificial tears (e.g.Refresh) every 1-2 hours during day, to start with, then add other tx prn.
