Edema. +/- CHF: Androgel can cause swelling of the hands and feet with or without congestive heart failure. Symptoms of congestive heart failure would include fatigue, decreased exercise capacity, shortness of breath, and edema. If you just have the swelling or the edema then i would recommend you call your doctor tomorrow unless you're able to reach him on call tonight and he or she will likely prescribe a water pill or diuretic for you so that the swelling will go down.If on the other hand you have the other symptoms that include symptoms of congestive heart failure, then i would recommend that you go to the emergency room for further evaluation treatment and recommendations.
