Allergic reaction: It is possible that you are allergic to something that is manifested later on as swelling and severe itching! Take 50 Mg of Benadryl every 6 hours . I would suggest consulting with your PCP and possibly refer you to allergist for further evaluation and treatment . To the emergency room if you have respiratory issues !
