Ask her cardiologist: The answer to your question depends upon the result of her cardiac catheterization. If your mother has significant coronary artery disease she may need further evaluation or intervention. If her catheterization showed non-significant disease, then her chest pains may be coming from something other than her heart, which is reassuring. Given the medication she is taking, her cardiologist knows best.
