"charlie horse": Inflammations in muscles , often called "charleyhorses" are due to tiny microscopic poinjts of bleeding after an infrequent exercise and can be prevented by avoiding exercise which is way above your normal activity..Condition your muscles with gradual graded activity. Btw hot showers after this non-conditioned exercise makes the micro bleeding worse thus actually increases charleyhorses.
