Arnica: If this is local muscle inflammation, arnica cream can be applied topically. It is safe, but should not be applied to broken skin or open wounds. More generalized muscle inflammation needs constitutional homeopathic treatment -- and arnica may or may not be the indicated remedy. In that case the best idea would be collaborative care between conventional physician and skilled homeopath.
