Does he make a : diagnosis of FLU or is it your impression that you have the FLU and not a bacterial infection? Talk with him to obtain his input. If he actually tells you that he is giving you antibiotics for what he believes are viral infections - I would be leery. On the other hand, if he has reasons to believe that you have a bacterial infection - then his medication chose would make sense.
