I have been diagnosed by my gp with flu. im not coughing, no sinus issues or a cough. i have aches and pains and fever. should i be worried for pneumonia because im not coughing or snotty ?

The best check for pneumonia is one done during a review of your symptoms and history followed by an exam. If the doc found no evidence of pneumonia, with no subsequent change in symptoms to suggest otherwise I don't think it is reasonable to worry about pneumonia. Follow-up with your doc if/when anything changes for the worst.

If you do not have cough and have no problems with breathing, you need not worry about pneumonia. Get Flu vaccine every year.
