No: But drugs like Omeprazole used to treat reflux associated with hiatal hernias can cause diarrhea that could be incorrectly blamed on lac intolerance. If thats possible in your case, try either Tums or zantac (ranitidine) for the heartburn symptoms short term to see if the diarrhea gets better.
