PRURITIS (ITCHINESS): PRURITIS is secondary to excess histamine production to an allergen . Start Zyrtec to block H1 receptor and Zantac (ranitidine) to block H2 receptor . You need an exam & labs , if no cause is found, then food and environmental allergy testing is needed. If symptoms persist or worsen acutely seek prompt attention.
