Try baby oil: Sometimes itching can be to a medical condition but often is a sign of dry skin. Many people do well with baby oil applied sparingly with a washcloth after you shower in the morning. You don't have to be dripping just rub and and let it absorb and it will form a good barrier keeping the skin from drying out.

Maybe, maybe not...: Skin may itch because it's dry and is crying out for more moisture. But what's the texture of your skin when it itches? What's the color? Does scratching make it stop itching or make it itch more? If moisturizer/lotion gives you no relief, follow up with your doc.

Allergy: Is there a rash with it? Dry skin can cause itching but also allergic reactions. See if you have any reaction to washing detergent or creams, shampoos. Nerves can also be a cause of itching.
