Toothache: The answer is possibly yes depending on the source of the toothache. The problem is that usually this means the nerve or the tooth has died or possible infection has penetrated through the bone and relieved the pressure that was causing pain. You need to get seen by a dentist ASAP to prevent future problems including severe pain and or infection that spreads and causes more serious problems

See a dentist ASAP: The tooth pain is caused when the nerve root of a tooth or gums are irritated by inflammation. Take some pain medication (NSAID or Tylenol (acetaminophen) OTC) and when your able to see the dentist make sure you do. Toothache won't go away on its own.

See dentist first: Please have the area evaluated by your dentist. During allergy season, the pain may be non- odontogenic in nature due to sinus pressure.
