I need some help please! why is my wisdom teeth starting to hurt?

Several possiblities: Wisdom teeth can be the source of pain when they are trying to erupt into the mouth, partially exposed with an infection of the tissues surrounding the tooth (pericoronitis), decayed, causing damage to adjacent teeth, or with some type of pathology, such as a cyst associated with the tooth, or growing in an abnormal position causing injury to the soft tissues. You need evaluation by a dentist.

A few reasons.: Could be periodontal disease, cavity, erupting through gums, food caught between teeth. Best plan is to see oral surgeon for exam/options.
