Healing: The ability to heal, in general, is better when your body is in good health and younger also. Cells' turnover is much faster in a young body. So rather than pain, which is hard to measure, if you think about how quickly you get back to normal, the answer is yes; removing wisdom teeth at a younger age is easier on the body's healing. Roots are often shorter in young wisdom teeth also.

Pain is Pain: Pain is pain. How we deal with pain varies from individual to individual. Having wisdom teeth removed at an early age offers some advantage as the healing capacity is usually better. Also, if the wisdom teeth are removed before they are fully developed some of the associated risks may be less.
