Logical: It's a logical assumption to expect some discomfort or pain after an extraction as it is a surgical procedure. Most people have heard "stories" from friends how they had pain following an extraction. Interestingly enough, the "bad" stories seem to circulate at about a 20:1 ratio over the surprisingly pleasant experiences. Few individuals tell others how easily it went.
