Is it possible to stress yourself into having a heart attack?

Depends: If you're young and healthy, no. If you aren't known to have coronary artery disease, probably no. If you do have coronary disease, possibly. If you have advanced or unstable coronary disease, yes, for sure. That's why people of coronary prone age who wish to undertake an exercise program are advised having a stress test first.
