Sad and mad : It is unknown whether stress can lead to cancer. I do not believe there are any studies showing this. However stress can definitely need to cardiac problems such as arrhythmias and a syndrome called broken heart or tako tsubo syndrome, which involves transient weakness in the heart function.

Complicated: There is an intimate connection between the mind & body. Williams et al. (2000) & chida (2009) found a relationship between stress/anger (particularly destructive anger) & coronary artery disease (CAD) rates. Not all the evidence is consistent on this. If anger increases cad, it might do so by increasing the body's exposure to high levels of cortisol and adrenaline.
