Possible: There is something called "stress-induced" cardiomyopathy, or "broken heart syndrome." in cases of severe stress, sometimes the heart can get damaged and then fail to beat properly. This is not a very common condition, but I have seen it happen. I haven't heard of stress causing strokes, though. But, i can't say that with 100% certainty.
