I'm curious as to which toothpaste is best for reducing pain caused by cavities when taking hot or cold things?

Fix it!!: Fixing the cavity is the only thing to help eliminate the cavity. Until then, no toothpaste will predictably control sensitivity..

None: Toothpaste doesn't fix cavities. Some toothpastes help prevent cavities from forming, others may remineralize microscopic areas of calcium loss, but if you have a cavity (infected hole) it can only be fixed by a dentist. Please put down the computer, pick up the phone, and call a dentist before your decayed teeth turn into abscessed teeth.
