Brush, floss: Any "anticavity" toothpaste is fine. THe most important protective action is the mechanical cleaning by brushing and flossing. And avoiding sugary foods that stick to teeth

Anticavity: Toothpaste should contain anti-cavity fluoride. Best to stick to one of the major brands for consistency of product.
