I'm interested to know what happens if you develop a cavity a few days before you're getting braces?

Needs "fix": No competent orthodontist will place braces on teeth with cavities. Please do 2 things: call your family dentist to make arrangements for repair of the damaged tooth/teeth, and 2) report the situation to your orthodontic specialist. It may affect the timing of your braces placement. God luck.
