Possibly...: But does it really matter? All that matters is that you have not yet called a dentist for an appointment. This problem will not resolve by itself. Call today and feel better tomorrow... Things will only get worse, real fast if you don't treat this soon.

See a dentist asap: If it is not an infection, it very well could be heading that way. Don't try and self-medicate. See a dentist asap. Infection can spread.
