Sort of: It is ok to use it in the sense that the flakes of teflon, if they enter the food, will harmlessly pass through your digestive tract if you ingest them. However it certainly interferes with the non-stick qualities of the pan and is probably a strong hint to replace it (and current prices are quite low for these items. ).
