MAYBE risky: Teflon is the name for the chemical polytetrafluoroethylene (ptfe). In some studies teflon pans release at least six toxic gases, including two carcinogens, two pollutants, and mfa, a chemical lethal to humans at low doses. Some 'purists' advocate going back to stainless steel pans or cast-iron cookware.

Teflon: This is a tough question, almost forgotten , but lets try. PTFE, deteriorates at 260 'C and decomposes at 350 'C. It is Carbon fluorine bond. Most of the oils smokes around 200'C except for 2. One I remember being Avocado. you make up your mind, if you want to use that coating which is used In Aerospace, computers, lubricants, armour piercing bullets and the entire roof of Metro dam in Minnesot
