A member asked:

My teeth are stained since i was young. is my only hope seeing a dentist for whitening or are there alternatives?

At age 42 see a DDS: See a dentist as over the counter whitestrips tend to work best on younger, less stained teeth. There are great successful combination in-office with take home tray systems (zoom! or kor) that will get your teeth as white as possible.
