A member asked:

Height can be measured by lying down on floor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not really: Height is measured when a person is standing up. If a person is lying down, that measurement is called length. Doctors measure the length of babies. After toddlers grow old enough to stand cooperatively, we can measure their height.
