Call the surgeon: Call the surgeon that did the surgery. They would know what was done and your history and other medications, and what you might be able to try.

Elevate and stay off: Make sure you are elevating the foot on couple of pillows also make sure there is no redness or drainage from the incision. Usually pain is intense for about two weeks after surgery and then it starts improving. If you have fever, chills drainage or redness in foot please contact your surgeon otherwise elevation and staying off of the foot will help with the pain.
