I broke my big toe 1.5 years ago.no surgery was needed but it's a bit crooked.now my whole foot and knee hurt when i walk a bit more than usual.help!

Pain/altered gait: Foot pain or deformity can cause an abnormal gait pattern and as a result cause pain in the foot, knee, hip, or even in the back. I'm sure you have been evaluated by an orthopedic specialist. If you have not you should follow up with one. Your foot should be evaluated and the deformity corrected by conservative measures or possibly surgery. An evaluation of your knee is also needed. Good Luck!!
