What are the possible treatments for akathisia caused by aripiprazole after one month of stoping the med ? i have taken it alone for 4 months .

A few.: Anticholinergic drugs such as Benztropine Mesylate (cogentin), , trihexyphenidyl (artane) , Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and antihypertensive propanolol , a beta blocker, are used for the akathisia of antipsychotic drugs like aripiprazole. Stopping the medication after a month will sometimes be sufficient as the medication gets out of the system.
