Can i do weight lifting if i have lumbar spondylosis at 28 from 3 months only? first i was diagnosed with l5 bulge and pt made it spondylosis!:(

Yes: First check w/ your ors before u begin a wt. Lifting program. At your age w/ unilateral spondylolisis i would avoid squats, power cleans and dead lifts.Other exercises ( esp. Upper body)are usually ok. If your surgeon thinks u are at risk for spondyilisthesis or worsening pain i would follow his advice. He knows how signifigant the 'crack ' is in your back, the chances it will heal and progression.
