With the information: You have given it is likely an infectious process, and would best be actually looked at by a doctor. The significant infectious processes at your age include streptococcus and mononucleosis. Viral ulcerative pharyngitis is also significant and painful enough to be symptomatically treated. Have your doctor take a look.
