Interesting: Tonsils grows faster than the kid from birth about 8, when it is prominent in most.Later the kids growth faster than the tonsils and they are less prominent. It is not unusual for them to be large without illness at this age.It is odd that one side would be quite different than the other, but without any pain, fever or other symptoms it could be normal.Review this with your doc at a regular visit

Tonsil: As long as your daughter is not having any problems with recurrent tonsillitis or dysphagia due to obstruction, there is no reason to be concerned. Your pediatrician will monitor your daughter closely for any issues related to her tonsils and recommend appropriate management.
