Yes: Both medication and gall bladder disease can create altered bowel movements. Intrigued by your description of "bad gallbladder". Have you been told that or just assuming you have one because of your bowel habits?. The really big issue not to take a back seat to anything else at age 50 is colon malignancies. Any change in bowel habits at this age should trigger an evaluation by your doctor.
