Bile binders: In the rare patient, diarrhea or loose stools develop after gallbladder removal surgery. A trial with a bile binder such as Questran (cholestyramine) might help you. In some area Questran (cholestyramine) is available without prescription. Okay to ask your pharmacist, and then go to your regular doc. If you do not respond, you may benefit from colonoscopy and EGD to look for other problems. Be well.
