Is there such thing as a precise diet for fat loss?

Fat Loss Diet: The best plan for fat loss also involves the prevention of muscle mass loss. To that end, a plan which allows 0.8-1.2 mg/kg/ day of protein will protect lean body mass. If one has a diet composed of too little high-quality protein, the lean body mass is at risk and therefore the metabolism is in jeopardy. Think of it like this: muscle burns fat.

Correction: More precisely: 0.8-1.2 grams (dietary)protein / kg of body weight daily will preserve lean body mass (muscle). Sorry. A 220 pound person should have about 100 grams of high quality dietary protein daily to preserve lean body mass or muscle. The amounts can vary with activity, sex and stress . Generally, the body with this approach will focus on fat stores for energy.

Precision "Diet": Precision Diet is a program customized to individuals that aims for fat loss, muscle preservation or building, and optimal health. The lead proponent does NOT believe there’s a single, absolutely, positively, without-a-doubt best diet for every person to follow, always, and forever. He customizes, develops a plan, listens to feedback, and gives precise advice. It can work.

Nothing beyond: The idea that you can't lose weight(and fat) unless you burn more calories than you co sume. Otherwise there is a reason why you see so many diet plans out there. Different diets work betters for some and not others.
