It's a controlled rx: Nucynta (tapentadol) is a controlled medication. That means you need a written script and a visit with the doctor to make a change. There may be limited time in his schedule. Are you on other antidepressants that may interact with nucynta (tapentadol). Nucynta (tapentadol) works on nor Epinephrine as well as the morphine receptor. I can give it better pain relief but also more symptoms. Also may interact with other drugs that work on the norepinephrine receptor.
