Myoclonus: End stage COPD can lead to a drop of oxygenation in your blood (hypoxia) despite getting supplemental oxygen and can lead to muscle twitching. See your pulmonologist for evaluation and adjustment of your COPD medications.

Not normal: With severe COPD comes anxiety and often that can be manifested by quivering lips. Is there any tingling sensation? Any issues with hand spasms? In that case we think about your calcium level being low. If there are no symptoms of muscle weakness, flickering or fasciculations elsewhere, it is less likely to be a neurological condition. Try meditation-helps many of my patients with severe copd.
